ART Group only collects, uses, discloses or processes (as controller) personal and business confidential information about you when it is necessary to conduct our business of providing alternative risk transfer, insurance and reinsurance solutions or for respective marketing purposes. We limit the collection of personal information to what we reasonably believe is needed for this purpose. As a result, we collect personal and business confidential information, among others, from the following main sources:

• Information you share with us either directly or through a representative, such as through brokers or other intermediaries.
• Information you provide or which is obtained from other sources through the process of underwriting, servicing or handling a claim in relation with business we do with you.
• Information about you or your business from your transactions with us, our affiliates or business partners of ours.

ART Group stores some of the information about you by electronic means in such ways that pieces of information can be more easily collated and used more effectively. ART Group has registered the database used for this purpose with the Swiss Data Protection Agency (Register No. 200800248).

Access to Your Information
We respect your privacy rights, particularly your right to access your information. If you ask us, and to the extent provided by local law, we will share with you the personal information we collect and retain about you and will correct it, as required or appropriate.

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
In some cases, we may share your data with third parties and/or affiliates in order to offer you other services or for our internal risk management purposes. In such cases, we respect your right to object to such transfer to third parties or affiliates or to our use of your non-public personal data for purposes other than they were collected for. ART Group is committed to adhering to all applicable privacy laws and will honor any contractual non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement it entered into.

To the extent that we share private or business confidential information across jurisdictions, the members of ART Group have entered into cross-border data transfer agreements to safeguard your privacy rights.

Tracking of Your Use of ART Group’s Website
While we (or our third-party service providers) may collect information about your visit to our website to assist us in monitoring the traffic or quality of our website, we are not able to identify you or your personal profile during this process.

Examples of information that we collect include day and time of your visit, whether you have visited our website previously, whether you used a search engine to find us and some geographical information about the country of your residence. In particular, we use etracker technology (www.etracker.de) to collect visitor behavior data. The data is collected anonymously to be used for marketing and optimization purposes. The data collected via etracker technology will not be used to determine the personal identity of the website visitor or compiled with personal data pertaining to the user of the pseudonym unless agreed to separately by the person concerned. The collection and storage of data may be refused at any time with respect to subsequent services.

We also use other external companies for the following purposes:

• for webhosting services for this website; and

Other than described above, ART Group does not use this website to collect any information about you.
